Post Deri's story began in 1980 in Beyazıt, Istanbul. When our late father, Cemil Fırat, took his first step into the leather trade, his capital was a few hides and a firm word. He learned the craft with his hands: holding a hide to the light, weighing it between his fingertips, telling its quality by touch.

Over the years the business grew and moved to Merter. The address changed; the principle never did. Our father taught us this: the person in front of you is a human being first, a customer second. In trade, honesty is not an option but the touchstone — profit without ethics is no profit at all.

We have taken the flag from him. Walking the road he led us on, with more than 45 years in the trade, we work with Türkiye's leading tanneries and serve shoemakers from one address for upper, lining, sole and shearling. Behind every hide we sell stand his name and our word.
